A Sight to See

Postby capnbobbyinyelapa » Thu Nov 26, 2009 6:10 pm

I don't know if any of you know but I just found out the NASA shuttle and space station are orbiting the earth through Friday and will be visible without a telescope between a few minutes from now and 7 pm in the NNW sky.

It looks like the best day to see The International Space Station will be on Sunday, November 29 at 6:49pm. It will be visible for 6 minutes. Max elevation in degrees, - 81; approach - 10 degrees above NW; departure - 10 degrees about SE. So, it will cross the sky here from NW to SE.

I would love to see it.
