I get mine cut on the corner of Insugentes and Aquiles Serdan. I think it's called Mayra Palacios.

Sarah: your cut is similar to Paula's!
Try Christy & Emma on jacarandas just south of manuel dieguez, should be around #420
Christy cuts hair, Emma does nails! down 5 or 6 steps below sidewalk. Christy lives upstairs.
Should make appointment.... open at night often too!

I wish I could bookmark this thread! Hmmm, maybe I can. Why not?
Anyway, haircuts are always nightmarish for me, for some reason. So, now maybe every few months, I will just try someone new. Thanks.

Yup! She is on the west side of Jacarandas just beside the arbour and north of Badillo. Thanks, Mac. I think it was too early in the morning. Too much tennis!

Update: I think my salon is closed, so spouse and I went to a place we'd passed by on Aquiles Serdan between Constitución and Insurgentes (the further west of the two barbershops/peluquerías). $60 for both men and women. Don't know the name of the shop, but the man's name is Pablo, and he speaks some English. After he cut spouse's hair, I was so impressed that I had him cut mine, and he did a great job, very good cut. And for $60!

saludos cordiales,
Gayle
