How much are you paying for airfare?

Every question is a good one.

Do you all know that there is a nifty calendar set up on this board for everyone to post their trip dates? This is actually helpful for many in knowing who is going to be here when....
If you felt so inclined, you could also put where you are from and how much your fare cost from there to here....

This seems to be a hugely popular thread. I had no idea that now is when people book their flights to here. High season is the last thing on my mind, I am just kicking back and enjoying the summer quiet and the Mexico feel of everything and not having to work so much and how quiet and laid back the town feels and how beautiful the green jungle and how the tension is gone and the animals are back.

But it is so wonderful to hear that you all are coming back. We never know.

For those of us who have turned this airfare shopping into a science, it's really rather intriguing, Sarah. The prices, literally, fluctuate daily/weekly, in some cases. For us, if you don't book way in advance, you're looking at multiple legs in the flight. I want to get there direct. I used to come in and out of there for as low as $79 RT plus taxes and fuel surcharge (about $140)....now you can't even get a direct flight out of STL...only MCI on Frontier...and they fill up fast (I'm looking at December, just as always.

That november 28 flight is staring me in the face bigtime.
Im about two weeks away from putting my request in.
Hope its still there!
Im doing a new job that i am getting supplemental pay for, so I was thinking about treating myself!
Looking at 11/28-12/8
By then We will know who the president is going to be and all the michigan seats will be filled and all promises will be forgotten by Jan. 1st.
How can they say my life is not a success? Have I not for more than sixty years got enough to eat and escaped being eaten?

We don't have the house listed yet (as "someone" hasn't completed reno's), and it's only 12 degrees today so feels like winter, and I don't have searching for flights to occupy my time!! It's weird to not be looking for flights -feels like I'm missing something! But, come hell or lousy housing market - we will be there for November and the full season! :D
