How much are you paying for airfare?

I paid about 446.00 round trip from SF. Direct flight was the same or cheaper in all comparisons. I leave this Thursday, sorry all:-)

In October we paid $613 R.T however I used mileage and got one for $77. Wife had to pay the $613. In February, we had to pay $648 each R.T. Both are from Newark, NJ

Just booked Washington DC to Puerto Vallarta for $590 in late October, US Airways. It takes us on a more circuitous route getting home, but the fare is about $150 less than we usually pay for our annual March trip.

And yippee: We're making a second trip to PV this year!

Am paying less then last year, b/c i accumulated west jet bucks.I buy my ticket in june, then every couple of weeks, on a wednesday, i phone west jet and ask the fare that day...if it is less then what i paid, they put the difference in my west jet account..and this year, i get to use it...accumulated 320 bucks so my flight should be about 350 return.all in.
Question...has anyone done this? you can find advertised really good deals at say.."dreams"...800 a week of AI, includes flight.Am thinking of booking that, living large for a week in AI, then just buy one way ticket home, when its time to go..also serves to give you a week to find accomadations for couple of months..still would work out to be a good deal no? wondering....

WOW..it looks like americans are paying more to get there n they r closer..whats with that?..fares look cheaper from canuckland...least from Van.wish i lived closer to vancouver...my flight from small town BC to van costs same as van to pv..crazy...but thank gawd for airmiles!
