Bye, Mom.

When the Rant is Over...

On the negative side of Esther, she once said that if Sarah dumped me, as I always feared, that I was welcome in her home.

She is the best mother-in-law I've ever had.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss Sarah.

Thanks, everyone, I appreciate all the kind words.

And I had to laugh and I want to thank Kitchacat for solving the hyena mystery. I read "Virginia Wolfe" so long ago, but I had forgotten that particular diatribe. My mom had lots of literary sayings, it is good to know what was in her mind.

I get much solace in thinking how much she would have liked to hear what you all had to say.

I like to think that she does know. :)

I know this may seem ridiculous, but maybe she does. (I started a ramble but it's gone.) This thought is definitely for us, and not for the deceased.

Anyway, I still talk my late husband. (Trust me, he doesn't answer.) Call me nuts. No doubt that I miss him. Whenever I am leaving for PV, I tell him that I am leaving for somewhere that he loved, and hope he wishes me well, and tell him that I will say hello to the place for him.

I hope that somehow, if it is at all possible, Sarah's mom appreciates that her ashes ended up in a wonderful place.

My mom believed more in deviants than she did in the afterlife, so this is no problem.
