When the Rant is Over...

You might not have a desk but I do! And there's no damn cooler under it. Now I'm in a bad mood brother. LoL
How can they say my life is not a success? Have I not for more than sixty years got enough to eat and escaped being eaten?

My 21 year old son buys beer and lately I've been stealing his suds, even though I don't particularly like the stuff he's buying... they just happen to be in bottles that he bought down south... (there is a bottle ban in the North and you can only buy cans locally). I'm sure that he is as happy about it as I was when he took my beverages these past 5-6 years.

PS: I have a cooler in my office, but it's technically for pop, juice, and water. I have no problem having a beer or scotch well before 5:00 any day of the week... but the the problem (at work anyway) is not getting caught :D

Rascal,
My sister and I watched it from 11 am to 3:30 and that clip that you posted opened up the flood gates.
There were other times through out the funeral but that was moving.

We both made a deal with one another that we want a choir at our funeral! She has insisted that I hold her funeral in a black baptist church and not a stuffy ole funeral home.

I told her that I will do my best but keep in mind....you ain't no Whitney Houston so it might not be the same! :)

Ella, that funeral was something else, wasn't it? You and I have not met, but we I can tell from reading your posts, we are kindred spirits. One of my best friends moved from FL to Rosedale Park MI last year and we are going to try and make it up there later this year for a visit. Maybe we could all meet up for a drink! If not in MI, then maybe in PV at somepoint!

Yes it was something else.
My daughter said, I just remember being strapped in the back seat and having to listen to Whitney on my way to school.

Whitney was my girl! She made the hairs on my arm stand up. :D

Rosedale isn't far, keep me posted.
PV would be so much better!!!

I have to post this live performance...it's my favorite and one of my favorite songs!

Ella, love that one!

This is also a good duet with Whitney and Enrique Iglesias, reminds me of sittin on the beach in PV at sunset!
