Sam's has a four pack of graham cracker pie shells in the 70 peso range! Walmart had individuals for like 79pesos!!
This should probably earn me my dozen bars???

I asked Bev "What's in a Nanaimo Bar?" She said "Mainly Hell's Angels and strippers."

I've given up on the Nanaimo Bars for this year. I will purchase needed ingredients when up north this summer so I can make them next Christmas. In the meantime, I found Cranberry Sauce to take to our potluck Christmas Dinner. Not as good, but infinitely easier!! :)

When I'm thinking of a Canadian treat, I think of Nanaimo bars and butter tarts. At Christmas, my mother would also make mince meat tarts with the little lids on top. I assume the mince meat originated in England where lots of immigrants came from.

Any one up for a lime margarita?
