As the OP, I didn't say that the customers were trickling in. I just said that I didn't sell much. I sell very special plants that aren't of value to the mass market.
The market customer base was large at the beginning of last season and it's larger now. I'm not selling there any longer for many reasons not having anything to do with the size of the market.
The market has been doing great from what I hear. Lots of happy sellers and customers and the variety is said to be increasing weekly.
If you love a claustrophobic clusterfuck, you will LOVE the gringo "Farmer's Market". So crowded you can't even walk (literally), nor see the precious baked goods and 'crafts' made by bored Ex Pats sold at exhorbitant prices. And NOW, even better, with 'live' music so loud, you can't even talk, either. What a great job they have done, they can all pat themselves on the back.
Doing something that you otherwise enjoy + taking it to the market one day a week to sell it - Or not sell it + but still have an interesting day. = Bored Expat ??
I wanna be a bored Expat.
How can they say my life is not a success? Have I not for more than sixty years got enough to eat and escaped being eaten?
