Has anybody got experience staying at the hotel? The good and bad

My friends always stay there, old outdated basic rooms, average food at best, but being right on beach and location is what is all about for them, and always good package deals from Canada!

Yep, that pretty much sums it up. A great budget hotel for the location. Not fancy, not elegant in any way, but it works if all you want is a bed on the beach scene. The balcony rooms on the ocean are nice to upgrade to for sunset and beach watching.
