I would say this picture is in the afternoon with the sun already in the west, people with no shirts on, especially the Mexican sitting in the engine bay of the truck with no shirt! Mexicans are freezing here in the early morning and wear sweatshirts and sweaters.

How many small businesses from 1988 are still in operation in Vallarta? That taco stand may be one.

Yes! and it's a good thing no one wanted to wager as I was wrong about the Carranza thing too!! :oops: Looks like I did well on where the sun was tho! :)

Thanks guys! It's certainly Vallarta as that's me in the teal shorts walking away from the camera. What puzzles me in this photo is what looks like mountains in the background and a building that could be a hotel by the bay. That would be impossible to have both. Maybe what looks like mountains are clouds? At first, I thought it was Basillo Badillo. Then I went on Google's StreetView and nothing on Badillo looks like it. So as Macuard posted, it could be Carranza because the traffic is westbound. Badillo and Cardenas are eastbound. I'll StreetView the other streets, but I think too many old buildings from 1988 are now gone.
