Let it go?????? My husband was cured, it's been almost 4 years, we have many friends who have also been cured (one more than 13 years) and your university won't look into it????? but can????? And you expect me to just forget it??? Well, then the conspiracy is worse than I thought. The whole world is using HIFU, everyone but us. We are driven by money, that's for sure, we have a for profit health care system. Even my primary car doctor agrees with me that the implications of approving such a device for cancer use is far too reaching, it would upset the medical industry. And another friend, a doctor, is meeting us down here for HIFU. People like you, the sheep, is why the USA will be left behind, and when they shut off our internet access to only approved sites we'll really be left in the dark. Think about the facts behind the story I wrote about how the american doctors knew they could cure ulcers with just a prescription of metronizole, but at least 17 years went by and they had to give a Nobel Prize before they were shamed into it. They felt no loss of honor for cutting people open, removing their G.I. tract and putting them back together -- only to have the ulcers reoccur -- yes, more surgery..... They didn't even have the curiosity to prescribe metronizole and see what happened. Well, they probably did....on family members and close friends, like they do HIFU.

Don't get me wrong, nothing is pefect, sometimes it has to be redone, but a HIFU twice is much better than surgery or radiation once. And never use a doctor who hasn't been using the machine for a hundred times, don't let anyone practice on you.

m...jack, rereading ronald's post and thinking about what you said about "treatment" or "research" at universities....if that could happen then why pay the hundreds of millions of dollars to fund a gov't clinical trial? The business has to pay for it, there's no logic. And why would they need to start up clinics all across the Canadian border or in Mexico, Bahamas, Burmuda, Dominican Republic....etc. each machine costs 12 million dollars,a little place like the Bahamas wouldn't be able to pay for one. What you say may be true for something simple, but not testing a machine for cancer, and cetainly not a drug, that's why MD Andersen gets 250 million a year in donations, to research.

Sorry for not posting back, but I was at a national health conference and forgot my laptop. I did say research... Unless its already accepted as bullshit along with bloodletting, and the local shaman's power.. I did ask about HIFU... Everybody thought it was a Japanese treat of some sort. Counseling might lesson your obsession with this subject..... Or at least direct you to a relevant site that gives a shit.

My only obsession is with honesty, and I believe people should take the hypocratic oath with sincerity, "first do no harm" that's the oath doctors take when getting their license. They did harm in cutting people up with ulcers when there was a pill that would work, and they are cutting and radiating people right now when a sound wave will do the trick. Radiation doesn't do as much harm while the treatment is going on, it's just months of humilating treatments along with hormones that turn you into a babbling crybaby girl going through PMS, but a couple years later the bowel movements and pain start up. When you find out what really happens after those two treatments -- you'd never sign up, that's why our doctor was scaring us with "you need to schedule now, you only have weeks to be treated". Latest news is that you are only 3% better off by having surgery.

If no one was like me and spoke up then they'd have carte blanc with us.....there is a girl down here pushing stem cell treatments, I met her, I got her email, she had told me her mom had them for cancer and was doing great, so I wrote her, she wrote back....then I asked some specific questions, what kind of cancer did she have....she never replied, I wrote again, no reply....so I think she is a salesperson. My husband and I will meet with anyone, we have nothing to hide. I do know a girl who had stem cell in India after a ski accident left her paralyzed, she could move a little extremeties, but after several trips she hasn't really improved much.

I also have a friend who was diagnosed 10 years ago with aggressive bone cancer, the worst kind, told he had 4 months to live, he went home, prepared to die and he just died a couple months ago. He spent 10 years living a happy life instead of living through the misery of cancer treatments, they may or may not have cured him.

Clearly some people get benfits from chemo....but others die from the chemo....there is a choice, we are told there isn't....but don't jump until you know what you are getting into.

When my sister died they put on her death certificate 'pnumonia" as the cause of death....when it was cancer. That's why we have such a low cancer death rate....lies.

I understand robert is in the medical business....so he needs to follow the rules, and he doesn't know about HIFU, but in this world the rest of us have to think for ourselves.
